Community UMC youth share God's love at a local nursing home
Published on December 05, 2013
A Pews To Streets video submission by Jenn Stancil of Community UMC in DeBary, Florida:
"We have an intern program that includes middle and high school students. They took a trip to our local nursing home to hand out cards they made for the residents and to share God's love by applying what they had learned in the intern program. While they were handing out the cards, one of the residents asked if they could sing to him... so the girls sang to him. He was so happy to hear them sing that he asked them to sing several more songs. Even though the girls did not plan on singing that day they made him smile and helped share God's love through song."
