On Saturday, May 21, a cookout was held at Home Front Village for formerly homeless veterans. Those who helped from Deer Lake UMC were veterans, men's & missions ministry members. Very special thanks to Crossroad bluegrass band for providing the music! It was a privilege and honor to help serve these veterans!
