Home Made Bread Pudding


This is my grandmother's recipe that she and later my mother prepared every Sunday. There could be no Sunday dinner without Grandma's bread pudding.


Home Made Bread Pudding
Serves 24
Total Time:  1 1/2 hours

Ingredients:
2 loaves of bread, shredded
4 eggs
1 cup milk
1 cup sugar
1 cup water
1/2 cup butter or margarine
4 tablespoons cinnamon
1 box (12 oz.) raisins or canned fruit

Directions:
Place bread in a large mixing bowl, add all other ingredients and beat well. Make sure there are no bread lumps. Pour the mixture into a greased and floured ovenproof pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour or until golden brown.
