Easy Corn Bread

We all use and/or love the boxed stuff, but home made is easy if you have a well stocked pantry.
Easy Corn Bread
Sift:
1 cup cornmeal
1 cup flour
1/4 cup sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
4 tsp. baking powder
Add:
2 eggs- beaten
1 cup milk
4 Tablespoons melted shortening
Directions:
Bake at 350 degrees for 20 to 25 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
