Melt 1/2 cup butter (1 stick) or margarine with 1/4 cup cocoa in saucepan. Beat 2 eggs, add 1 cup sugar to eggs, mix and gradually add 3/4 cup flour*, 1/2 tsp. baking powder,1 tsp.vanilla.
*Add only half of flour if adding nuts and use rest to coat nuts.
Bake in greased and floured pan at 350 degrees for 25 - 30 minutes.
