We have enjoyed this unusual recipe. As the title says, it doesn't seem to be either a cake totally or a pie totally.


Pumpkin Pie-Cake

Ingredients:

1 can (1 lb 13 oz) pumpkin
1 can (8 oz) evaporated milk
3 eggs, slightly beaten
1-1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp cloves
1/2 tsp nutmeg
1/4 tsp ginger
1/2 tsp salt
1 c sugar
1 box yellow cake mix
1/2 c chopped nuts
1 stick butter, melted

Directions:
Blend together all ingredients EXCEPT the last three.  Pour this mixture into a 9x13 inch pan.  Sprinkle evenly with the cake mix and nuts.  Drizzle butter over all.  Bake 350 degrees for 50 minutes.
