Pea Soup

Pea Soup
Serves approximately 8
Ingredients:
1 cut up onion
1 lb bag of green split peas
1 bag carrots sliced
Cubed potatoes
Ham bone or diced lean ham
Directions:
Half fill large pot with water. Add onion and dried peas. Cook low and without cover - stir frequently. When peas dissolve slightly, add meat
and carrots and potatoes.Cook until vegetables are soft
To make thicker - add more peas
To make thinner - add more water
