Apricot Bread

Apricot Nut Bread
Ingredients:
1 1/2 c dried apricots
2 T butter
1 1/4 c sugar
1 egg, well beaten
1 c sour milk
2 3/4 c flour
2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp soda
1/2 c nuts
Directions:
Let apricots soak for 5 minutes in hot water. Drain and chop. Cream together butter & sugar and add the egg and sour milk. Sift together the flour, salt, baking powder and baking soda; add to first mixture. Fold in apricots and nuts. Bake in greased loaf pan about 45 minutes at 350 degrees.
