Bean Soup

This is a hearty, fiber-packed meal.

Bean Soup

Wash 2 cups bean mixture* then soak overnight in fresh water.

Next day combine with:
One 16 oz. can/bottle tomatoes
One can Ro-tel, chopped
1 large onion
1 clove garlic & 3/4 tsp. garlic salt
1 1/2 quarts water

Cook 2-3 hours until beans are done.  
Makes plenty.

*Bean Mixture
16 ounces (ish) of each:
baby limas
split peas
black turtle
black-eyed peas
one box of pearled barley
