Florida Bishop Ken Carter will be the featured guest Nov. 22 and 29 for the Day1 radio show hosted by Peter Wallace.

The bishop's first topic, scheduled for Web release Tuesday, Nov. 17, will be "A Kingdom Not of This World," a discussion of what Christ's reign means for His followers, including the call to be His servants in this world. The discussion will be broadcast on select radio stations on Sunday, Nov. 22.

Carter's second stint on the show kicks off the Advent season with the topic "We Are Yet Alive!" The bishop will discuss three themes prominent in Apostle Paul's first letter to the Thessalonians: reunion, encouragement and imitation.  The discussion will be released on the Web on Tuesday, Nov. 24, with airtime set for Sunday, Nov. 29.

Day1, which traces its origin to the 1945 broadcast of "The Protestant Hour," presents weekly broadcasts featuring outstanding preachers from mainline Protestant denominations. The show is carried by more than 200 stations in the U.S., according to the Day1 website.
