September 08, 2015
WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Lewis Center for Church Leadership of Wesley Theological Seminary introduces "Developing Your Operating Budget," a new resource for churches that wonder if there’s a better way to craft their congregations’ annual budgets.
Through videos and supplemental materials, Lewis Center director Lovett H. Weems Jr. helps churches understand what an operating budget is, different ways that churches create their annual operating budgets and five common budgeting models. The resource can be used for individual study or by finance committees, pastors and finance staff. It is available in DVD/CD and download formats. For information, click here
