Preparing for Hope:
Rural Ministry During Advent and Christmas
Rural churches still matter in this year of unexpected events. These communities are a blend of traditions and values which offer a creative hope. We invite the laity and clergy of the Florida Annual Conference to explore the realities of many Florida rural communities and how the church might look to its teachings and traditions to offer a creative hope for the coming years.
Join Dr. Jonathan LeMaster-Smith on this zoom webinar as he explores rural life and the Christian tradition.
This session will offer an exploration of theology and culture, provide practical responses to issues that face the rural church, and remind us that Advent and Christmas still offer hope wherever they are celebrated.
