The North Central District -Florida Conference

The North Central District of the Florida Conference is one of eight districts in the Conference.  Districts are generally not defined by county, but in a general sense, the North Central District covers portions of Marion, Alachua, Sumter, Lake Citrus, Hernando, Pasco and Levy Counties.

Dear Rural Ministry Friends,
 
Several people indicated that May and June were not good times for the Rural Ministries Summer Book Club. Because of this, we have postponed the start of the Rural Ministries Summer Book until Monday, July 5th at 7pm via Zoom. 
 
Additionally, the District Office has ordered 50 copies of Reclaiming Rural for the discounted price of $12 per book. This is a $12 per book savings. Please send an email to the District Office at flumc-nc@flumc.org to place your book order with your address.
 
Further, the Rural Ministries Summer Book Club will compliment Allen Stanton's webinar presentations for the rural churches in our district on  July 13, July 20, July 27, and August 3rd at 7pm via Zoom. 
 
Please inform your congregations of these excellent opportunities for learning about rural church ministry and being in fellowship with other rural churches in our district.
