Join Bishop Carter at one of four regional gatheringsConference News
Dear Florida Conference:
Grace and peace to you, brothers and sisters, in the name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and Lord.
During the last three falls, I have traveled the state for regional gatherings. These gatherings have been an important time to connect and answer some of your questions. Our 2018 gatherings are fast approaching.
I invite and encourage all clergy and laity to make every effort to join me for our 2018 Fall Regional Gatherings around the theme: The Cross and the Flame. This year, we will be in Tallahassee, Winter Park, Boca Raton and Bradenton from September 16 to September 19. Each gathering will begin at 6:30 p.m. In order to answer as many questions as possible, we ask that you submit questions prior to the gatherings. I will take time to answer the pre-submitted questions, and we will reflect together on the future of our church and how we focus on our mission together.
For full details, to register and to submit questions, click here. Because these events are open to everyone, this link provides some tools for you to use to promote this regional gathering in your local church and through your own social media. In this season of our church, it is vitally important for us to gather together. You don’t want to miss this opportunity.
I am here to serve you. I do hope to see you at one of these gatherings. Pray for me, and I will covenant to pray for you.
The Peace of the Lord,
