Training available for Florida Advocacy Days
Florida Advocacy Days Bill Information & Training Session November 30, 2021 | 7- 8:30 p.m.
Florida Advocacy Days is a vital partnership between the 11th Episcopal District of the African Methodist Episcopal Church, the Florida Conference of the United Methodist Church, and Florida Impact to End Hunger. We work year-round to lift the voices of children and families in the legislative process with a focus on food insecurity, nutritional needs and access to housing. We also advocate on issues that directly affect people's ability to participate in the political process.
The 2022 Florida Legislative Session is fast approaching. To prepare for this January session, we would like to invite you to the Florida Advocacy Days Bill Information & Training session on Tuesday, November 30, 2021 from 7 - 8:30 p.m. This is a free, virtual event.
At this meeting, we will share:
- Insights from FAD Coalition leaders and guests
- Information on our priority issues and bills for the upcoming session
Now is the time for us raise our voices together to impact positive change for children and families across Florida. Learn about our past work here: www.flumc.org/tool-kit
