DAYTONA BEACH – Florida Conference members and guests heading to Annual Conference 2015 can access all things related to the big annual event on smartphones and mobile devices with an app available for download.
The app is available on iOS (iPhone, iPad) and Android. Go to your app store and search for Florida Conference UMC. The app icon name is FLUMC.
Parking and check-in
Hundreds of clergy and lay members took advantage of early check-in Tuesday, June 9. Check-in will continue Wednesday at the Holmes Business Building on the Bethune-Cookman University campus located at International Speedway Boulevard and Lincoln Street. To access a campus map and directions, click here.
For the remainder of the week, the Bethune-Cookman staff has designated parking for Annual Conference attendees in various lots near the campus Performing Arts Center where most conference business will take place. Attendees should look for signs directing them to available parking in the vicinity of International Speedway Boulevard and Lincoln Street.
Open for business
A meet-and-greet opportunity for election candidates and voting members will be held at 8:30 a.m. Wednesday. June 10. Clergy candidates will greet guests in the Moore gymnasium on campus, where the clergy session is scheduled to begin at 10 a.m. Laity candidates will greet guests in the President’s Banquet Room adjacent to the Performing Arts Center, where the laity session will begin at 10 a.m.
The conference officially opens at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday in the Performing Arts Center.
