Estero UMC undergoing $4.5 million expansion

The village of Estero’s oldest church is getting an upgrade.

Site work has already begun on a $4.5 million expansion of Estero United Methodist, which is just south of Broadway on the east side of U.S. 41. The expansion will include more room for fellowship and children’s programming, said Pastor Tim Carson.

The church, which dates back to 1915, started planning its expansion 12 years ago when it purchased seven adjacent acres to its south.
