Broadway UMC donates pet fire rescue equipment



Devon Webber, a 17-year-old student, said he wanted to make sure all 17 Orlando fire engines were prepared with the latest equipment to save an animal’s life, so he presented the idea of purchasing “Fido Bags” to a philanthropic committee at Broadway United Methodist Church in Orlando. The pet rescue kits are the first of several gifts to local charities and non-profit organizations by the church from a legacy donation by a deceased congregation member.
