Annual Conference 2022 takes place in Lakeland June 9th - 11th. First United Methodist in Lakeland is pleased to host Kids Camp during Annual Conference 2022. Our goal is to provide your children with a program they are excited to attend, while giving you that important “peace of mind” so you can attend the Annual Conference worry free.
Childcare and activities are offered for ages six weeks through eighth grade on, Thursday and Friday from 8:00am-5:30pm and Saturday from 8:00am-1:00pm. Children will be separated into age appropriate classes. Staff members include many year-round workers in Children’s and Youth Ministries, assisted by screened volunteers and staff from other United Methodist Churches in the Florida Conference.
Reservations must be received by Friday, May 6th. Full payment and medical release required by May 9th. Deadline will not be extended.
Cancellation Policy – Reservations cancelled at least 14 days prior to the event will be issued a full refund. Reservations cancelled at least 7 days prior to the event will be issued a 50% refund. Should we need to cancel childcare or adjust the childcare schedule due to low participation, we will do so not later than May 12, 2022.

Details
In order to secure your space in Kids Camp, you MUST pre-register by May 6, 2020. Registration is not confirmed until payment is received and will be on a first come, first served basis.
Please note as of February 2022, masks are required for adults and children (kindergarten and older) and are recommended for children 2 and older. We will inform you if there are any changes to this policy before camp.
Once your registration is confirmed, you will then be sent a packet of detailed information (i.e., directions and a campus map, drop off and pick-up location, daily schedule, etc.). A signed and notarized medical release form must be returned by May 9th.
Light breakfast, lunch and snack will be included in fees, as noted on the schedules. If your child has specific dietary needs, you will need to accommodate that and provide food as necessary.
Please send your child with necessary items needed for the day. All items must be labeled with their full name.
