Lay Servant training prepares the laity to be in ministry through caring, communication and leadership.

All classes require a total of 10 hours attendance. The Session fee is $45. Cost includes dinner on Friday and lite breakfast and lunch on Saturday, as well as the basic texts required.
Note: Lay Servant certification expires after three years.

After completing a Basic LSM class and an Advanced LSM class, you will be a Certified Lay Servant.

Conflict Resolution First-Responders - English - Led by Lennie Burke and Mike Mailman, Certified Lay Servants
The church needs first responders - people who can help snuff out small flames of conflict before they have a change to cause harm. This class will equip Lay Servants to intervene and help others through the conflict. Completion of the previous advanced class, Peacemaking: Resolving Everyday Conflict is helpful but not required.
