Welcome to the 2022 Florida Annual Conference. Please check the AC2022 website often for updates and additional information.

#BEUMC:  Recording will take place in the Melvin Art Gallery.

KIDS CAMP (formerly childcare): First United Methodist Church, Lakeland, will be providing childcare. Check our website https://www.flumc.org/kids-camp-22 for more information.

CLERGY SESSION: Will be held on the Campus of First United Methodist Church of Lakeland at 10:00 am on Thursday, June 9th.

COKESBURY: Will not be in-person at the Expo in 2022.  Visit them at www.cokesbury.com

COMMUNION: Holy Communion will be celebrated during the Worship Service at 7:30 pm, Thursday, June 9th. Holy Communion will also be  offered, in the Danforth Chapel Thursday and Friday mornings at 8:00 a.m.

EXPO: Please visit our vendors during the following times:

GUEST SERVICES: will be in Honeyman Pavilion during the following times:             

  Thursday, 6/9      7:30 am – 5:30 pm

                              Friday, 6/7            7:30 am – 5:30 pm

                              Saturday, 6/8       7:30 am – 10:00 am

HEARING-IMPAIRED: Signing for the hearing impaired will be provided for all sessions of Annual Conference.

HOUSING: Accommodation information for area hotels/motels can be found on the conference website at https://www.flumc.org/ac2022-hotels

INTERNET: WIFI access is available throughout the areas in use.

JOURNAL ORDER FORMS: Orders may be made online by visiting the AC2022 website starting May 31st. 

LAITY SESSION: The Laity Session will be held in the Florida Southern College Branscomb Auditorium on Thursday, June 9, 10:00 am.

MEALS ON CAMPUS: The cafeteria will be open along with a couple of other options.

NAME BADGES – VISITORS: All visitors are asked to wear a name badge while attending the Florida Annual Conference Event. Request a name badge after 5/2/22 by visiting the AC2022 website  and completing a Visitor Name Badge request form not later than 5/25/2022. The requested name badge will be available at guest services upon arrival. 

NURSING MOTHERS ACCOMMODATIONS:  Check at Guest Services for location.

OFFERING: This year two offerings – one for Encounter with Christ in Latin America and the Caribbean and another for technology grants for rural, small membership and ethnic churches.  For more information visit AC2022 website

PARKING: is located throughout the campus. Click here for a map of the campus and parking. 

PRAYER OPPORTUNITIES:  Prayer opportunities will be held in Danforth Chapel and at pop-up locations throughout the Conference.  Watch Whova for updates!

WORKSHOP REGISTRATION CLOSES 5/25/2022 OR WHEN CAPACITY IS REACHED

PRINTED MATERIALS: Printed materials requiring conference action must be in the hands of the Conference Secretary in printed form 24 hours in advance. Such pages should be prepared and duplicated for distribution at the expense of the submitting party. Printed materials should be taken to the usher’s tables located in the back of Branscomb Auditorium.  Only those materials that the lay and clergy members will use during the annual conference may be distributed.

SERVICE OF REMEMBRANCE: The Service of Remembrance will be held at 10:30 am, Friday, June 10, in the Florida Southern College Branscomb Auditorium. The Memorial Service will be webcast live via Internet enabling those who are not able to attend to see and hear the service. To view the Memorial Service, click on the webcast button on the home page of the Conference website.

VIDEO TAPED SESSIONS: All sessions of the Annual Conference are video recorded, including worship services, debates and discussions. The sessions will be available for download at the AC2022 website

VISITATION DURING CONFERENCE SESSIONS: Ushers will close off the auditorium each morning when the sessions begin. Visitation may take place outside the auditorium.

WHEEL CHAIR FACILITIES: Florida Southern College is equipped for persons who are physically challenged. See an usher for assistance.
