We are doing the important work of building bridges and dismantling racism. Every local church is encouraged to develop a team to engage in this work. Each month we will list opportunities that are open to everyone. Questions? Contact Frank or Heather

Join us for Bridge Builders on Sunday, October 8 at 4 pm. All are welcome to attend this discussion where clergy and laity in the East Central District share about their experiences of racism and our work to dismantle it.
While the ECD Anti-Racism Team takes time to ponder our next steps under the leadership of Dr. Sharon Austin, our Bridge Builders group continues to meet. This informal group began as a way for clergy and laity to engage in conversations about race following the murder of Georgy Floyd. People are encouraged to drop in as they are available to participate over Zoom. We are currently engaging in discussions of the book The Sum of Us: What Racism Costs and How We Can Prosper Together by Heather McGhee. This month we will discuss chapters 5 and 6.
