Helen Mitchell Insurance Operations Specialist
Provides overall risk management administrative assistance to local churches, including certificates of insurance, motor vehicle driving record requests, database and accounting support.
Helen comes to the Ministry Protection department after serving the Florida Conference for ten years in the HR & Benefits department.
Amber Douglas Claim Specialist

Provides guidance to Conference churches through the claim process; monitors all claims for service, compliance, and resolution.
Amber has over 15 years of claim experience at an industry-leading insurance company and is focused on making sure our churches receive quality customer service from our claim partners.
LaNita Battles, AINS Department Director
Responsible for leading the department and oversight of the comprehensive insurance program, risk management issues, claims response, risk control and long-range strategic planning. Also manages and coordinates the claims of the insurance program in conjunction with the third party claims administrator of the Conference.
LaNita has over 35 years of experience in the insurance industry in multi-line claims, underwriting, risk management, and communications. A graduate of Bethune-Cookman University and a professional member of the Risk and Insurance Management Society (RIMS), she has also earned the nationally recognized professional insurance designation of Associate in General Insurance (AINS).
