In keeping with our core value of safety and security and to address the continuing instances of tragic shootings around the country, The Florida Conference Ministry Protection Department is offering a free training event for local churches.

Archive Training: Are you keeping too much church stuff?

Let's face it. Churches love to keep EVERYTHING! And because of that, the amount of paper and other items can overwhelm a church office, closet or storage room. We are here to help you get organized and figure out what you MUST keep and what you no longer need to keep after a specific time period. We will also let you know what you don't have to keep at all and also share some suggestions about online cloud storage to help keep your filing cabinet become less crowded.

The District is hosting "Archive Training: Are you keeping too much church stuff?" This training will be held at two different locations.

January 9, 2019:  10 a.m. - 12 p.m. @ Fort Caroline UMC, 8510 Fort Caroline Rd, Jacksonville, FL 32277

January 9, 2019:  2-4 p.m. @ Asbury UMC, 16 College Dr, Orange Park, FL 32065

We encourage all church historians, church office administrators, clergy and any other laity from the church interested in this topic to attend. This training is FREE, we just need you to register your group so we can plan for you to attend.
