Commission on Equitable Compensation

The Book of Discipline, 2016 charges the Commission on Equitable Compensation to "support full-time clergy serving as pastors in the charges of the annual conference by:
(a) recommending conference standards for pastoral support;
(b) administering funds to be used in base compensation supplementation; and
(c) providing counsel and advisory material on pastoral support to district superintendents and committees on pastor-parish relations."

The Commission on Equitable Compensation exists to assist churches who are in need of financial support on a short term basis. It is the goal of Equitable Compensation to see transformation come through the implementation of new vision by making disciples for Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world.

A church wishing to make an application should be in consultation with their superintendent. Upon the approval of the superintendent the church can then proceed with the application process.

Applications are due April 1 and can be completed online.

Please read through the application fully before you begin. Once your application is submitted, you will receive a confirmation e-mail with a link to your registration. If you need to make adjustments, please click the link and then click "Edit My Registration" at the top of the page. This will allow you to make any necessary changes without having to submit a new application.

Please Note: Monthly Missional Vital Signs (MVS) reporting will be required in order to receive funding. Churches who fail to submit MVS reports will NOT receive funding until reports are submitted.
