Live Sound Technician

Part Time Job 15 Hours/Week plus additional hours for special services and events.  Pay is $16.50/HR

Hours are Sunday 8-11 am and Wed 6-8pm  All remaining hours may be done at employee's convenience as long as it meets weekly deadline.

The A/V Tech will produce the best possible atmosphere for worship through sound reinforcement, graphics, lighting and livestream.  This includes, but is not limited to, creating the best music mix possible, creating an audio mix that meets the desire of the Pastor/Director of Worship Ministries, and supporting the audio needs of the people involved with the church service. In addition, the A/V/Light technician is responsible for creating the slides for Pro Presenter software that is used to project the words and videos on our screens. Another responsibility is to use stage and house lights to create an atmosphere of worship. Finally, the A/V technician uses video production software and technology to broadcast the Isle of Faith UMC church service on the internet weekly. Ultimately, all to glorify God through providing excellent audio and visual services. This position also serves as consultant to the Pastor, Director of Worship Ministries, and Trustees regarding sound, graphic, lighting and video related needs. The A/V/Light technician is a vital role of the worship team and is for one who has a passion for audio/tech and a passion for God and His people.
