First UMC, Lakeland, Children's Ministry Summer Intern

Our Children's Ministry is seeking one summer intern (approximately 30 hours a week) from May - August to focus on building relationships with children and families, weekly Sunday school, FL Annual Conference Kids Camp, Vacation Bible School, Warren Willis Summer Camp and other summer events. This internship will provide a scholarship amount of $4500. Housing may be possible here in Lakeland if needed during the summer. Candidates should be discerning a call into ministry as a vocation, preferably with children, and have completed at least one year of college. They should  have a  love for children and families, teaching, planning and organizational skills, and pass background and reference checks.
