Administrative Assistant
Position Classification:  Part Time
Reports to:  Pastor 
Hours: 30 hours a week
Keystone United Methodist Church is seeking an administrative assistant to provide administrative leadership, communication and support for the Pastor, Staff, and Volunteer Leadership. This person is responsible for management of the church office operations. They serve under the Pastor and provide advice, guidance and support to guests and staff. He/She must maintain a high level of trust/confidentiality, have a pleasing personality, administrative capabilities and be able to multi-task.
Regular Duties & Responsibilities:
            Including but not limited to:

  • Create bulletins weekly- traditional and contemporary
  • Track attendance and prayer requests
  • Create Weekly announcement in PowerPoint and forward to Tech Support
  • Create Weekly church-wide emails with events, sermon series, calendar and other pertinent information for the week ahead

General/Clerical/as needed
  • Schedule/Log all pertinent events and groups meeting on campus into church calendar
  • Assist committees as needed (monthly email reminders, forward report templates, compile and print reports)
  • Maintain Wix website
  • Submit conference reports as needed
  • Maintain bulletin boards
  • Produce documents, booklets, flyers as needed
  • Assist with VBS Online Registration
  • Messenger newsletter- compile information, create, send via mass email to congregation, print copies for Narthex
  • Proofread/Edit documents as needed from Pastor and committees
  • Maintain orderly appearance and functionality of front office
