The Florida Conference is a regional unit of The United Methodist Church and comprises more than 600 local churches. This religious organization is seeking a full-time Human Resources Manager.  The successful candidate must be able to handle diverse tasks in a professional and timely manner. This position serves as a Human Resources consultant to the Conference leadership team as well as local churches.
A Bachelor’s Degree in business, human resources, finance or other related field is required.  Human Resources Certification (SPHR, PHR) highly desirable, but not required.
The ideal candidate is required to have 5/7 years of direct operational application of human resource processes, policies, and procedures.   Knowledge and understanding of pension plan design and funding is required.
Must be detailed oriented and proficient in Microsoft Office products such as Word, Outlook and Excel.  Strong verbal and written communication skills required.
Appreciation of the nature and mission of the church is important, and knowledge of The United Methodist Church will be an advantage. EOE. Salary range consummate with experience and requirements.  E-mail resume and letter of interest with salary history to no later than September 30, 2021.
