Position Overview
Ortega United Methodist Church – Jacksonville, Florida.  The Administrative and Financial Coordinator is a full-time salaried position responsible for the day-to-day operations of Ortega United Methodist Church.  Responsibilities include: general office management, financial recordkeeping, coordination of congregational care, facility management, supervision of custodial staff, and the general operational management of the Church.  The Administrative and Financial Coordinator reports to the Senior Pastor. 

  • Devoted follower of Jesus Christ
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Knowledge of basic accounting 
  • Knowledge of office computer software, i.e. Microsoft Office, desktop publishing, and financial recordkeeping software (currently Church Teams and Logos)
  • Supervisory skills to oversee facilities and to coordinate maintenance personnel
  • Knowledge of Church structures, policies & procedures helpful
