Murray Hill UMC is seeking a part-time (30 hrs per week max, Mon-Fri) Office Admin Assistant to maintain and run the church office with efficiency, love, and respect.  The Admin Assistant is responsible to the Lead Pastor and to the Staff Parish Relations Committee, and must be able to work with all types of people, give and receive instruction and direction well, and be flexible to take care of unanticipated tasks.  Skills needed are Word, Excel, Power Point, Quickbooks, and attention to detail.  Responsibilities include: Accounts Receivables and Payables; posting weekly contributions and making deposits; payroll; prepare weekly bulletins and monthly newsletters; clerical work, emails, phones and messages; event planning; purchasing supplies; District and Conference reporting; consult with SPRC, Trustees, and Finance for business and repair needs; and others duties as assigned by the lead pastor.  Salary: $12.50-$15.00 per hour, depending on qualifications and experience.
