The Children’s Home has promoted Diahann Suchan, MS, LMFT to vice president of Residential Services. Suchan previously served as the director of Clinical Services for the Children’s Home. She is a licensed marriage and family therapist with over 13 years of experience helping children and families. Suchan earned her Bachelor of Science in Human Services/Psychology and her Master of Science degree in Marriage and Family Therapy. Prior to coming to the Children’s Home, her experience included lead clinician, outpatient program manager and therapist.
As the vice president of Clinical Services at the Florida United Methodist Children’s Home, Suchan will directly oversee directors and managers of clinical and residential care at the Children’s Home. She will provide clinical supervision and coordinate with community resources in the care of the children in residence.
Established in 1908, Florida United Methodist Children’s Home is accredited by COA (Council on Accreditation), EAGLE (a program of the United Methodist Association of Health and Welfare Ministries) and is a member of the Alliance for Children and Families.
