Children's Home awarded $3,500 by Staples FoundationOn the Move
Recently awarded $3,500 from the "2 Million & Change" grant funding initiative, Florida United Methodist Children's Home is looking forward to enhancing their existing STEM program and Legacy Scholars Academy. The "2 Million & Change" fund is awarded by Staples Foundation, a charitable arm of Staples, Inc. directing more than $2 million dollars to local organizations worldwide.
In 2015, Staples awarded more than $2.5 million to 875 organizations to support education and job skills programs, career exploration for high school students, academic scholarships, mentoring and other programs.
