What hashtags should you be using with your content?
The answer is sitting in the pews. Your members and people like them are the demographic you want to reach. So, what are they interested in? Who are they paying attention to? What do they hashtag?
If you can find their social media accounts, the answers to these questions become clear. You can see right there what your congregation is already hashtagging and who they are following. It takes committed research, but it's worth it.
A good place to start is to record relevant hashtags in a spreadsheet.
