MEN'S PANCAKE BREAKFAST

Saturday, April 6, 8 AM to 11 AM, United Methodist Men Pancake Breakfast at Gray Memorial United Methodist Church, 2201 Old Bainbridge Road, Tallahassee 32303

The Gray Memorial UMC United Methodist Men are holding their annual Pancake Breakfast with all proceeds going to the "Imagine No Malaria" Fund.  Imagine No Malaria is The United Methodist Church's project to combat malaria worldwide. The UMC Imagine No Malaria Fund works in conjunction with partners including the World Health Organization, the United Nations Foundation, the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria, the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, and the Red Crescent Society.  

 

 

IMPACT@FAMU WESLEY FUNDRAISER

IMPACT@FAMU Wesley will present a powerful story of transformation Beautifully Broken’.

This presentation inspired by a Spoken Word piece written by Tamra Fitzgerald, an IMPACT@ FAMU Wesley Foundation student, features the IMPACT@FAMU Wesley TLA Step Team, Shadetree Liturgical Dancers, Trinity UMC Steel Pan Band and IMPACT@ FAMU Wesley Praise Team.  These artists will celebrate the human journey of hope and joy.

HOLY WEEK - MONDAY NIGHT, APRIL 15

The Wesley Foundation at FSU is hosting a community-wide Holy Week worship night on Monday, April 15 at 7:00 PM. Rev. Jonathan Brewster, the associate pastor at Trinity United Methodist Church, will be our preacher for the evening, plus our students & staff will be leading music. We are inviting local churches, youth groups, neighbors, and college students to enjoy this night of worship together on the Monday night of Holy Week. 1. Easter Sunrise Service - Community Breakfast, Sunday, April 21 at 7 AM. Location: 620 Benjamin Chaires Road, Tallahassee, FL 32317. Sponsored by Chaires UMC. All are welcome.

 2. First UMC High Springs Sunrise Service at 7:00 am with a potluck breakfast to follow. All are welcome.

 

3. Tallahassee Heights UMC Easter schedule is 7 AM Sunrise Service followed by breakfast and then a traditional Easter celebration at 11AM. All are welcome.

We are in search of a person to fill the position of Director of Children, Youth and Family Ministries. This position requires someone with a deep and maturing Christian faith and who has a passion for shaping children, youth, and their families into disciples of Jesus Christ. This person will be responsible for planning, leading and/or coordinating weekly and periodic children's, youth, and family programs and activities. He or she will also coordinate and plan with church leadership special events for children and youth such as VBS, Summer Camp, Youth Sunday, Youth Week, mission trips, and events for families of children and youth that strengthen and support the family unit in faithful Christian living.
