A Community of Love and Forgiveness: A 40-Day Journey Toward Annual Conference As we prepare for annual conference, we invite the people of the Florida Annual Conference to a journey of living more deeply into this baptismal vow:
“Do you confess Jesus Christ as your savior, put your whole trust in his grace, and promise to serve him as your Lord, in union with the church which Christ has opened to people of all ages, nations, and races?”
Each of the underlined words comprise the weekly themes of this 40-day journey, and constitute a person’s overall journey toward full discipleship and spiritual maturity. A diverse set of lay and clergy authors from around the Conference will reflect on these themes and the daily scriptures. Taken together, these daily devotionals move us toward a deeper commitment to Jesus, and an exciting vision of a church whose future is open to all people. Online devotional will be available on May 1 at flumc.org/ac2021. Click here to receive a printed copy of the devotional no later than April 23.
