Deep Dive for two topic areas:

Leadership:

Come learn more about what it is like to have strong lay leaders, leadership teams that work together, and sharing of tips and failures from the Grace family. Leadership in the local church should be a balance of strong committed leaders partnering with their clergy to see through the vision and ministry of the church. For 22 years, Grace Church has been shaping how leadership is lived out on the main campus of Grace Church, as well as four additional campuses. With core values of reach/connect/form/send as a disciple-making system, with covenant and expectations of leaders, Grace uses a team approach for leadership.

Date: Tues/Wed September 4 )& 5 ( starting 10am Tuesday, finish by lunch Wednesday)

Where: Grace Church, Cape Coral, FL

Dare to Explore

is a student leadership retreat for students by students.  This is a great event to bring your student leaders (or those whom you'd like to become students leaders) to, in whatever form that takes in your local church.  For some that is their whole youth group, for others it is a core group of student leaders.  Whichever way you choose to use it, this weekend will be a blessing to you and your leaders!  We will engage in worship, workshops, and fellowship time. Our goal for this retreat is to explore who God wants us to be by exploring who we are as individuals, who we are as a group, and what God wants us to do with what we have. This year the retreat days are February 15th-17th at Warren W. Willis Camp in Leesburg, Florida. The registration is $90 per person and registration opens in the first of October. We can't wait to see you and your team. No matter where you are on your spiritual walk, be prepared to explore!

Please do not hesitate to email us if you have any questions, comments, or concerns.

Rooted is proudly hosted by the Florida Conference of the United Methodist Church and the Youth Ministry Institute.

ERT training focuses on types, phases and levels of a disaster and explains what is meant by early response.  Participants are trained by UMCOR-certified trainers and receive a badge identifying them with UMCOR and the Florida ...
