"We were heartbroken to learn of the number of students in our local community who would start the school year behind because they could not afford what they needed- supplies, hygiene items, clothes, shoes, story books, a hair cut. We believe every student should start the school year confident, encouraged, and blessed. The Community UMC DeBary Outreach Committee rallied local schools, businesses, organizations, faith communities, and government to meet the needs of 108 students this year."
