The Florida Conference Table on the topic of “Clergy Excellence.” was held Thursday Sept. 3, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., at the Community of Faith Church in Davenport. 

This session offered a space for true Christian conferencing around issues of clergy excellence – what it is, why it is important, and what helps or hinders it. The event was different from previous Conference Tables in that it utilized an “open space technology” format. This method for discussion is based on the idea that the circle is the fundamental geometry of open human communication and that participants are the best ones to shape the actual agenda and process of a work session.
