This Week’s Storyteller is…

Mary Kay Roach, Centenary, Quincy
What a blessing to read many stories of those who have taken their Walk to Emmaus! Many blessings from my own Walk. First, it was a blessing to be a pilgrim among others with the Big Bend Walk to Emmaus at Centenary Camp. The second blessing was to have the opportunity to sponsor a church friend and pastor on their Walk and witness the uplifting and renewal of God in their lives; then, to have the opportunity to serve others on a future Walk was indeed the highlight of this total experience. To observe and see how God has touched so many and that it continues to renew them in His grace is an awesome experience. Those who have not taken their Walk are missing out.! "It is no longer I who live, but it is Christ who lives in me." Galatians 2:20

On hearing this, Jesus said to them, ‘It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick. I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners.’” Mark 2:17. The disciple shares how this has been his life verse lately, and the verse that has been shaping the youth ministry God has appointed him to.
