Tuna Lasagna Marinara


Use the highest quality of tuna that you can.


Tuna Lasagna Marinara

Ingredients:

1/2 cup chopped onion
1/2 cup chopped celery
2 -6 ounce cans tomato paste
3 cups water
2 teaspoons garlic salt
1 teaspoon oregano or Italian seasoning
1 lb. lasagna noodles, tender-cooked
2 cans water-packed tuna (7 ounce size)
1 cup fat free cottage cheese
4 ounces shredded part-skim pizza cheese (Mozzarella)

Directions:
Combine onion, celery, tomato paste, water, garlic salt and Italian seasonings. Simmer 30 minutes covered, until celery is tender.  Meanwhile cook
lasagna according to package directions.

In a 13 x 9 " baking dish, arrange layers of lasagna, tomato sauce, flaked tuna and cottage cheese.  Top with a layer of sauce and shredded pizza
cheese.  Bake at 375 degrees or until cheese is well-melted.  Let stand 10 minutes before slicing. Serves 8, 361 calories each.
