Cabbage Curry


Nice way to serve cabbage. Turmeric has lots of healthy properties.


Cabbage Curry

Ingredients:

Shred coarsely 2 lbs. firm white cabbage
Heat and saute the cabbage until golden brown: 1-1/2 T butter, 1 small onion, thinly sliced
Add to the above:
1 t salt
1/2 t pepper
1 t turmeric

Directions:
Cook for 3-5 minutes.  Serve hot as a filling in an omelet, in pastry shells, or on buttered toast.
