Cheese Pie with Strawberry Topping
1 pie crust
1 8 oz bar of cream cheese
1/2 cup sugar 2 Tbsp flour
1/3 cup milk
1 tsp vanilla
1 20 oz carton of frozen strawberries
2 tsp cornstarch (dissolve in Tbsp of cold water)
Cream cheese with mixer until soft, add sugar gradually, work until smooth, add flour and eggs, beat add milk and vanilla and beat until all traces of cheese disappear (check after 30 mins) at 350 degrees.
TOPPING: heat the strawberries over low heat, mix corn starch and water and add to berries. Add few drops of lemon juice. Add additional corn starch if you want sauce to be thicker. Cool topping and add to cooled pie top.
