Pineapple-Orange Sauce

Makes a tasty addition to pancakes or waffles at breakfast.

Pineapple-Orange Sauce


1 (20 oz) pineapple chunks in juice, undrained
1 T cornstarch
1 T sugar
1 tsp ground ginger
1/2 c orange juice

Combine pineapple with juice, 1/2 c orange juice with remaining ingredients in saucepan.  Cook and stir until sauce boils and thickens.  Cool to room temperature. Use sauce over pancakes or waffles.
