Very pleasant taste with the vanilla yogurt and buttermilk.
2 c flour
1/2 c packed brown sugar
1 T baking powder
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp grated lemon peel
1/2 tsp ground nutmeg
1 c blueberries
1 c nonfat vanilla yogurt
1 c buttermilk
In a large bowl, combine the first 6 ingredients. Gently fold in blueberries. Combine yogurt and buttermilk, stir into dry ingredients just until moistened. Fill greased or paper-lined muffin cups 2/3 full. Bake at 400 degrees for 18-20 min. Cool for 5 min. before removing from pan. Makes 1 dozen.
