Baked Fish with Tomato Sauce


No dairy products keep this sauce light.


Baked Fish in Tomato Sauce

Ingredients:

1 red fish
1/2 cup chopped onion
1/2 cup diced celery
1/2 cup shredded green pepper
4 tablespoons butter
2 tablespoons flour
1 1/2 cups canned tomatoes
1 can tomato sauce
1 teaspoon salt
dash of pepper
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1 bay leaf
1 tablespoon chopped parsley

Directions:
Salt fish and place in buttered baking dish. Saute onion,celery and green pepper in butter until tender.Add flour and mix well. Add remaining
ingredients and cook slowly, 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally. Pour over fish and bake in hot oven, 450 degrees for 30-40 minutes or fish is tender.
