Once you make your own sauce...store bought comes in second !!
Marie's Spaghetti Sauce with Meat
1 lab ground beef
Italian sweet sausages (I use turkey sausages)
2 large cans tomato puree'
1 large can tomato paste
2 cubes chicken bouillon
1 cup red wine
1/2 bag carrot strips
2 stalks celery
1 large minced onion
Chop celery finely. Saute in large pot with oil until golden brown. Add chopped meat and sausages (cut in thirds) and brown thoroughly. When done, add red wine and cook on low until mostly evaporated. Add puree and paste and bouillon cubes and cook on low approximately 2 hours.
When ready to serve with pasta, add grated Parmesan cheese.
