Peanut Butter Candy
1 tsp. pepper
4 cups sugar
1 cup milk (canned Carnation is good)
2 tablespoons white Karo syrup
1 tablespoon vinegar
Have ready: 1 pint peanut butter and 1 jar marshmallow crème (7 ounce jar, I think)
Blend sugar, milk syrup, vinegar and bring to a boil, boil 4 minutes, remove from heat, add the peanut butter and marshmallow crème.
Spread in a lightly buttered pan. Cool.
