Pork Chop Casserole
6 pork chops
3/4 cup flour - salt
1 can condensed cream of mushroom soup (do not add water)
2/3 cup chicken broth
1 cup sour cream
1 can French fried onions
Cut off any visible fat from chops. In shallow bowl combine flour and salt and dredge pork chops in mixture. Heat oil in large skillet and cook chops
4-5 minutes per side or until browned.
Place in a single layer in ungreased baking dish. Combine soup, broth, salt, thyme and sour cream and pour over chops
Sprinkle with half French fried onions
Cover and bake at 350 degrees to 45-50 minutes. Remove cover and add remaining French fried onions on top and bake uncovered for 10 minutes.
