Stove Top Stuffed Tomatoes
6 medium sized tomatoes
1 cup hot water
1/2 stick butter, cut up
1 package stove top savory herbs stuffing mix
1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1/4 cup Parmesan cheese (sprinkle on top)
Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
Make stuffing according to package directions.
Cut off top of tomatoes and remove seeds and pulp. Save pulp to add to stuffing mix.
Combine hot water, pulp from tomatoes and mozzarella cheese and add to stuffing.
Mix thoroughly and place inside of tomato shells.
Bake approximately 20 minutes until heated through. Top with Parmesan cheese.
