Tuna Noodle Casserole

This is my quick go-to meal. It can be prepared ahead and baked later. Or baked and then heated in microwave.

Tuna Noddle Bake


2 c noodles, cooked
2 cans (6 oz each) tuna, drained
1 can cream mushroom soup
1 c diced celery (saute)
1/2 c diced onion (saute)
1-1/3 c milk
1/2 tsp salt
Pepper to taste
1/2 c crushed Saltines or Ritz
3 T butter, melted

OR 1/3 can onion rings

Cook noodles according to directions. Combine tuna, soup, milk, sauted celery and onion, salt and pepper in a greased 2-1/2 qt. baking dish. Bake at 350 degrees for 32 minutes uncovered. Put a can of onion rings on top or the crackers. Bake for 3 minutes for top to be a bit crispy.
